London police discovered a young marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had any food or water while shivering. It withstood the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates described it an unlawful abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers identified a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
