A marine mammal was relocated from Marineland in Niagara Falls, Ontario to a Chicago aquarium. It died shortly after the move. The move took place before the animal died.
Marineland also relocated four dolphins and two belugas to an aquarium in Spain. Now the park has no remaining dolphins. Only belugas remain at the site.
