World Space Week 2026 is taking place from October 4 to 10 under the theme "Rocket Revolution," centred on how falling launch costs could open space access to more countries and organisations. Google celebrated the week with a dedicated Doodle, while Adafruit joined events tied to the week.

The European Space Agency teamed up with Pokemon GO to offer a special Astronaut Pikachu to players during the week. Katara also took part in the event. World Space Week is the largest annual space event on Earth, celebrated in more than 90 countries.
