Patchy storms are bubbling up across Central Texas on Thursday, Aug. 27. Parts of the Austin area may get some rain. KXAN and FOX 7 Austin both flagged the chance of showers. The storms are local and could bring showers to any neighborhood.
Later Thursday night, skies may clear enough for residents to view a lunar eclipse. The blood moon will be in view if conditions cooperate. The eclipse is due after the storm activity. Residents who plan to watch it should look for clearing skies. The weather and the eclipse are both sharing one night.
