Sheriff Country came back for its second season on Paramount on October 9, 2026. The premiere episode, titled "Cyclone," picks up with Sheriff Mickey Fox leading a search across Deadwater while her mother shows up again and brings old family tensions back to the surface.

The show is part of Paramount's western lineup built around Taylor Sheridan's franchise. Season 2 dropped the same night previews circulated online, with the opener laying out both a criminal threat and a personal reckoning for Fox.
