Melbourne United beat South East Melbourne Phoenix in the NBL Melbourne derby on October 10, recovering from a 15-point deficit to take the points. The game shaped up as a dramatic Throwdown thriller that went down to the wire.

Oduro sealed the result with a double-double, putting in a big shift when it mattered most. It was the kind of hard-fought victory that makes derby nights special.

In other NBL action on the same night, the Perth Wildcats hosted the New Zealand Breakers in a standalone game.
