Hamilton-born NHL prospect Matthew Mayich continues to stay at an Arizona hospital after collapsing during an outdoor workout. Mayich is an Arizona State hockey skater and a selection for the St. Louis Blues. He suffered the training incident while attending a team practice session outside.

Arizona State is looking into the incident of the player. Mayich is presently recovering in hospital while university authorities examine the circumstances surrounding the outdoor practice. The player remains under medical care in Arizona as the investigation into the training incident continues.
