Fernandes cleared his health checks and put pen to paper straight away. Manchester United made a bid earlier this year. Tottenham matched the asking price to secure the transfer. The midfielder will now join Spurs’ first team before pre-season starts. The club confirmed the move after the paperwork was finalised late on Friday night.
