Macklin Celebrini joined back the squad and scored a goal during a narrow defeat to the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie forward, who had been sidelined, appeared in the game alongside fellow prospect Will Smith, who played in the big league. Despite the loss, the Sharks saw a bright spot as Ivar Stenberg scored his first-ever professional goal during a different match against the Boston Bruins.
