On Saturday a feisty granny holidaying at a RIU resort in Britain filmed herself pulling towels off sunbeds that other guests had marked as theirs.
The clip was posted on X and in a flash attracted thousands of views and comments.
Bystanders said the beds were plain reserved, while others praised the woman for challenging what they called “sunbed hoggers”.
The video triggered a run of similar recordings from other resorts.
Resort staff said they plan to review the incident and remind guests of sharing rules.
The grandmother has not been identified, but the footage continues circulated across social media.
