Dieter Brummer, known broadly for his long run on the Australian soap Home and Away, died on 27 June 2026.
His death was publicly confirmed that day.
He spent several years on the show and became a recognised face in both Australia and the UK.
Former co‑star Melissa George said she is devastated.
She called the loss “utter devastation” and described it as “profoundly sad”.
She added that his ability and friendship will be missed.
