The BC Conservatives have released their election platform focusing on balancing the provincial budget. The party plans to decrease public spending and increase taxes to close a growing fiscal deficit. The platform also includes proposals to strengthen law and order with increased police funding and justice system changes. Some analysts call this a 'lose-lose situation' because both the NDP and Conservative campaigns rely on budget 'wishful thinking'.
